Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Finance CV Audit(“we”, “us”, “our”), operating the website finance-cv-audit.com, collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our CV audit service (the “Service”). We act as the data controller for the personal data described below. If you have any questions, contact us at reports@finance-cv-audit.com.

1. What we collect

2. How we use your data

3. Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)

We rely on performance of a contract to provide the audit you request; consent to send you follow-up marketing emails (which you may withdraw at any time); and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service.

4. How your CV is handled

Your CV is processed in real time to produce your report and is not stored on our servers after the analysis is complete. To generate the report, the text of your CV is transmitted to our AI processor (see Service providers below), which processes it on our behalf solely to return your audit. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf under contract:

6. International transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the UK and EEA (for example, in the United States). Where personal data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

7. Data retention

We do not retain your CV after your report is generated. We retain your email address and audit preferences until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, after which they are removed from our active records.

8. Your rights

Under UK/EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to object to or restrict processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email reports@finance-cv-audit.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

9. Email and unsubscribing

Every marketing email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link and header. Unsubscribing stops all further follow-up emails immediately.

10. Children

The Service is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.

12. Contact
